The user enters their card details in the certified IVR environment of PaybyCall, while authentication is completed through the channel defined by their issuing bank — banking app, SMS OTP, push notification or another equivalent method — without leaving the call.

PBC 3DS: PSD2 / 3D Secure strong customer authentication without interrupting the call

PBC 3DS is already operational and is based on a specific strong customer authentication method for the telephone channel, currently under protection through a Spanish patent application and an international PCT application.

The security of PaybyCall does not depend on deploying an SBC in every project. The platform already isolates sensitive data and enables secure phone payments under PCI DSS.

However, when the customer requires a reinforced end-to-end architecture, Pay by Call SL, as an electronic communications operator registered with the CNMC, can add SBC capabilities to increase control, segmentation and protection across the voice channel.
